Many people ask why we named our property “Bang Daisies”. Well, it is very close to a town called Humptulips in Washington state.
Humptulips - Bang Daisies get it? The idea came from a friend/coworker that mentioned that her father used to call Humptulips “Bang Daisies”
Anyway, Jojo and I were looking for recreation properties relatively

Anyway, Jojo and I were looking for recreation properties relatively close to home so that we can run the dogs and ride our quads. (The only rules are the rules we make up.) We found this one already set up with trails so we bought it.
*****Stay tuned for more updates. *****
The first thing that we saw was an old collapsed horse barn….. yeah the first thought on that is, “That has to go."
A closeup of the structure
We have several culverts on the property. During the rainy months there is a lot of water movement.
An existing trail. There were a lot of them.
We also have an existing shed. Its roughly put together but a very solid structure. Its been there a while so it has put up with the Hoquiam storms.
One of the culverts.
We hauled one quad plus camping gear. The other quad is hauled in the Van.
Jojo’s packing skills including one quad.
Roscoe and T-rex approve.
The van and Cargo Trailer.
A fat guy, a beer and a dog…….. need I say more?
The ever so important Honey bucket. We classify our camping experience as one step below Glamping.
we actually have daisies that pop up in June. Jojo and I did a solo trip to get some work done.
Unloading Quads and supplies
Jojo's packing job
Jojo likes setting up
The first 20' containers brought on site. the gravel pad was contracted.
The second 20 container arrived.
Then came power!!!! The power is a game changer for those cold nights. getting closer to glamping.
Jojo loves setting these things up.
The 14x7 trailer was converted into a mobile bedroom including 20 amp power service.
Myself, granddaughter Delilah and son, Matt
two of the first quads i picked up. Chinese knock offs but they serve their purpose
Me on Jojo's quad. good thing there isnt any hills to go up.
Delilah on my quad.
Here is Roscoe running with the quad down a trail that has not been cleaned up.
The contractor cleaning up the trail. Yeah, I'm old and lazy so I called "The Guy", in later videos you will see what the trails look like.
Our property is only 35 minutes from the ocean. We took some time off at for the beach. This is the dogs most favorite thing to do. Dog fishing with Jojo using a squeaky donut. they like the challenge for catching it.
